General Participation Waiver & Disclaimer

By registering for or participating in any event hosted by Flare Events (K2021792925), or by registering someone else for such an event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
 

1. Assumption of Risk

Participation in sporting and recreational events carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, death, or damage to property. By taking part in any Flare Events activity, you voluntarily accept all associated risks.
 

2. Medical Fitness to Participate

You confirm that you (or the person you are registering) are physically fit and medically able to participate in the event. You accept full responsibility for any medical conditions that may arise during or after the event.
 

3. Release of Liability

You waive and release Flare Events, its directors, staff, contractors, volunteers, partners, sponsors, venue owners, and associated personnel from any liability, claims, or damages resulting from injury, loss, or damages sustained as a result of participation.
 

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flare Events and related parties from any claims brought by third parties arising from your (or the registered participant's) actions during the event.
 

5. Emergency Care

You consent to receive any emergency medical treatment deemed necessary and understand that all associated costs are your responsibility.
 

6. Media Release

You grant permission to Flare Events to use photos, video, and other media of you (or the registered participant) for marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes. No compensation will be provided.
 

7. Rule Compliance

You agree to comply with all event-specific rules, safety instructions, and any directions from marshals, officials, staff, or any individuals appointed by Flare Events to act in an official capacity. Flare Events and its appointed representatives reserve the right to remove or disqualify any participant for safety reasons or misconduct.

 

8. Minors

If registering a participant under 18, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian or have permission from the guardian. You agree to these terms on their behalf.
 

9. Event-Specific Terms

Each event may have additional terms, conditions, or waivers that apply. These will be provided on the event registration page or linked separately. It is your responsibility to review and accept those terms before entering.
 

10. Force Majeure

In cases where an event is cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, natural disasters, government regulations), entries will be carried over or refunded in accordance with the refund policy. No further claims may be made.
